Level UP Block Party

New The Third Annual Level Up Block Party was held August 10, 2019, from 12:00 PM—12:00 AM. It was a free, all day event. The goal was to connect the surrounding community with the local art and tech scene and the or-ganizations that support them. It was a day of appreciation of arts, culture and community on the East Side of Pittsburgh. The event included live performances, dance workshops, live painting, STEAM and maker activities, games, vendors, food trucks, and more. There was also a back-to-school drive where students could get free backpacks, school supplies, and haircuts.

This year the PHASE 4 Best Buy Teen Tech Center reached hundreds of people and continued to have a positive impact on the growing community with an exposure to local programs and agencies.

Activities and workshops took place both outside and inside of Assemble and Level Up Studios with the Best Buy Teen Tech Center and Best Buy having tables for hands-on STEAM activities. The primary goal for this partnership is to work together to provide families of students with adequate information on the free programs offered, while showing them we care about their academic success and future.
