We trust you are well and safe given the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a brief message regarding PHASE 4’s commitment to your students, families, district, as well as to our communities.

When the Corona virus first became a concern prior to schools closing, PHASE 4 submitted a plan to the Pennslyvania Department of Education that would address the needs of our students should this action become necessary. This plan was approved and, as a result of the Governor’s orders, was implemented Monday, March 16, 2020 and will continue in effect until the closure is lifted.

PHASE 4 is listed as being an essential life-sustaining business . We are one of the most-effective organizations in the Commonwealth to help the at-risk/disadvantaged populations and we are needed.

While participants are all instructed to remain at home, PHASE 4 staff will continue to work with participants on a daily basis. Isolation does not mean no contact. Utilizing various means of outreach and monitoring, academic instruction, special education assistance, required counseling, career pathways work, career counseling and work readiness.

Parents are also contacted on a regular basis and we at PHASE 4 remain a resource and a source of services, as well as encouragement for all of our students and families. PHASE 4 staff assist with the needs of students and families for personal and school-related needs.

Given the challenges that we face, we are all in this together and remain confident that we will emerge stronger than ever.

Be well and stay safe.
