CAREER WORKFORCE PROGRAM

The Phase 4 Career Workforce Program is an Industry Pipeline Program that provides high school diploma completion and career pathways employment program under Title 1 of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998. The program serves youth, ages 16 through 24, who are non-attenders at their home school and are seeking a second chance to earn their high school diploma and explore and decide upon a career pathway. The program provides individuals with career pathways exploration and career counseling, leading to employment while meeting the regional workforce needs.

Applicants must meet federal income guidelines to qualify for this program funded through the Department of Labor. The student’s sending school and/or home school district of residence may agree to grant an official high school diploma upon completion of all the required courses or the individual may be awarded a State-recognized diploma.

The Phase 4 Career Workforce Program operates in our East Liberty, Shadyside and Baldwin locations year-round from July 1st to June 30th on a continual basis.
