A great deal of education focuses on teachers and administrators making connections with students. As educators, we must make positive connections with our students in order to have effective and sustainable change in their approach to education.  This workshop looked at different ways to connect with students — especially through partnerships with community agencies and through academic and artistic projects — thereby helping students make positive changes in their lives, in and out of the classroom.

As president Theodore Roosevelt said, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”
